I am looking for a Section Supervisor with electrical experience specifically within the railway sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of work aligns with required standards and compliance.
  • Conduct tasks safely following all procedures, method statements, and guidelines.
  • Perform directed inspections and prioritise emerging tasks effectively.
  • Develop work plans, resource specifications, and safety documentation.
  • Support asset renewal proposals and resource allocation.
  • Execute maintenance plans and update systems with accurate records.
  • Monitor staff performance, work quality, and compliance with standards.
  • Assist in managing staff, ensuring competence, discipline, and welfare.
  • Participate in personal and team development.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading work sites and ensuring safe, efficient task delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of work planning, asset maintenance, and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with cost and resource management processes.
  • Ability to promote safe practices and communicate effectively.
  • Skilled in coaching, influencing, and developing team members.
  • Relevant certifications for the role, with NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Willingness to drive vehicles as needed.

This is a 8 Month initial contract inside IR35, based in the Romford area where you will be required to be on sire or in office 5 days a week.
