This is an interim role, with an immediate start available, outside of IR35 for at least 3 months.
The position is based near Romford and offers hybrid working.
Overview of the positions as follows:
- Review all the businesses current procurement activities, current agreements to provide a through audit of the organisations procurement activities and current contractuial status with suppliers
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms with suppliers
- Extract tangible cost savings across third-party suppliers
- Work with suppliers to tackle any supplier issues, queries or lapsed agreements
- Lead discussions with suppliers to gain business insights and reporting to share with he business to drive strategic advantage
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value suppliers. Evaluate supplier offerings to ensure suppliers are aligned to business values and offer good value propositions
- Recommend best practice and key business planning elements for the future
- MCIPS qualification(or working towards) - advantageous but not essential
- Significant experience inprocurementwithin aprofessional service, insurance or B2B environment
- Excellentnegotiationandsupplier relationship managementcapabilities
- A strategic mindset and the ability toinfluenceat all levels of the business
