Vibrance has an exciting opportunity available for a part-time cook (15 hrs a week over 3 days) to join our team based in Dunelm, Chadwell Heath.  In return you will receive a competitive salary of £9,395 pa (£23,177 pro rata), plus benefits.

About the Cook role:

Dunelm is a Nursing Home for 11 service users with learning Disabilities and complex Healthcare needs. You will help to promote a homely and caring environment conducive to the needs of individuals.

You will carry out general duties in the kitchens, dining rooms and associated areas involving the preparation and serving of meals.

Meet the dietary needs of all residents within the home.

Participate with other staff, in shopping for the home with residents.

Ensure that control is kept of adequate provisions for the home.

Be responsible for the general cleaning of the kitchen and associated areas.

Hours:

9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m (some flexibility)

3 days per week including alternate weekends.

Skills and experience of our ideal Cook:

The postholder will have of best practice of:

  • Food Hygiene
  • Health and safety
  • Fire safety
  • Maintaining daily records such as menu’s, fridge/freezer temperatures etc.
