Lead Data Engineer

Location: Romford, Essex

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Engineer to lead a small team of developers within a global organisation based in Romford, Essex. This team's focus is on developing a portfolio of business intelligence services and products that support their customers' needs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree focused on Business Analytics/ Data Science/ Data Analysis or equivalent experience.

Duties of the role:

The Lead Data Engineerwill be responsible for the division's business intelligence domain (i.e. ingestion, pipelining/ processing, semantic modelling and visualisations), as well as the data science domain where they will help build complex algorithms/models to solve some of the most interesting problems within the logistics industry.
