We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our "Just Incredible" team on a term-time only basis, starting in January 2024. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Implement Activities: Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and foster holistic development.
  • Observe and Record Progress: Monitor each child’s development and keep comprehensive records, contributing to individualized learning journeys.
  • Promote Social and Emotional Development: Support children in developing essential social skills, promoting their confidence, independence, and emotional well-being.
  • Engage with Parents and Caregivers: Build strong relationships with families, keeping them updated on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns sensitively.
  • Ensure a Safe and Stimulating Environment: Adhere to health and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a clean, welcoming nursery space.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursery staff to foster a supportive and positive working environment.
  • Promote Inclusivity: Plan and adapt activities to be inclusive and responsive to the diverse needs of all children.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development).
  • Experience in Early Years Settings - Previous experience in a nursery or early years environment is essential.
  • EYFS Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its practical application.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates - Ideally up-to-date (training can be arranged if necessary).
  • DBS Clearance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
