About Us:

We are working with several thriving primary schools in Romford, Havering that welcomes all individuals into their inclusive, nurturing and vibrant environment. The schools are looking for Supply Teaching Assistants on an on-going basis. They seek to develop confidence, self-belief, independence and curiosity in all children. The SLT are now looking for experienced Supply Teaching Assistants who can provide both 1:1 and whole class support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the classroom teacher in supporting pupils in English, Maths and Phonics.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience working across EYFS/KS1/KS2
• Knowledge: Understanding of supporting pupil’s academic learning
• Desirable: Experience working with children in a school setting
