1-1 Teaching Assistant - Part Time
Recruiting for a suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to work with a KS1 student in a Romford School on a 1-1 basis with ASD and a low level of communication.
Monday to Wednesday 8.30am - 3.15
1-1 Teaching Assistant Role:
- An understanding of Makaton or PECS would be an advantage
- Supporting the student through clear and consistent instruction.
- Working calmly and effectively and adapt to learning plans appropriately.
- Building the social/ emotional skills of student whilst promoting trust and confidence.
- Working alongside the teacher to integrate the student as a member of their learning environment.
- To have good communication and organisational skills, patient with a positive attitude.
To Ideally have:
- A relevant TA Level 2/3 and/or care qualification
