SEN Teaching Assistant - Havering

I am currently working with a good Ofsted-rated school based in Havering who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them as soon as possible.

About the role

  • Working 121 with a child in a primary school with Autism
  • Student displays challenging behaviours and is non-verbal
  • Full time Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)
  • £80-£95 per day
  • Trial day/week initally to ensure you and the named pupil work well together

Ideal candidate

  • Previous experience working with young children with Autism
  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
  • Experience using Makaton or PECS to communicate with non-verbal children
  • Child only DBS on the online update service
