If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dedicated school in Romford as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, starting ASAP.

About the role:

  • Supporting students with SEN in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Managing groups of individuals from a class without the presence of the teacher.
  • Using on initiative to plan, organise and manage activities and tasks.
  • Helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Working closely with other staff members to ensure all students receive the appropriate care and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN.
  • A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of students with SEN.
