SEND Teaching Assistant Needed for Secondary School in Romford
We are looking for a passionate individual who has experience with SEND, particularly Complex Needs; Hearing impairment, speech and language delay, and Autism. This role will be supporting children with difficulties in communication and speech, providing activities to improve the development of speech and pronunciation. An understanding of Makaton and PECS would be admirable.
About the role:
- Work in a supportive and friendly environment
- Further your experience with different types of Complex Needs
- Between £80 and £90 daily
- Full time Position
- Extensive training on and alongside the job
- Have access to over 200+ Modules (Phonics, SEND, Classroom practice etc, Supporting additional needs, Understanding Autism etc).
- Start ASAP
About you:
- Be passionate about supporting children and making a difference
- Child-based experience, preferable with SEND - Speech and Language
- Experience with non-verbal children, and profound speech and language difficulties - if non, passion and drive to learn
- Be reliable - KEY!
- ANY experience with additional needs, personal or professional
