We are delighted to be working with a high profile charity based in Romford, Essex, in recruiting to the newly created role of Finance Manager. Reporting into an outstanding Director of Finance, you will lead a high calibre finance team in delivering a robust and timely service to the organisation.The Finance Manager provides expertise and leadership for financial operations, compliance and controls, financial systems and technical finance expertise and advice. The Finance Manager is also responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data across multiple systems, and advising and contributing to major projects with financial system implications. You will lead a small team that provides accounts payable, accounts receivable, stock, cash, banking, etc. services to the charity. You will oversee all quarterly VAT and gift aid submissions, and ensures all reporting and processing is carried out accurately and tasks are completed on a timely basis. Experience of working for a charity and leading small teams is essential for this role.In addition, the Finance Manager will liaise with key external experts including auditors, VAT and other tax advisers, banking partners, HMRC, etc. What you'll get in returnThis is a great opportunity to join a team at a vital stage in their journey of development as they embark on a digital transformation programme over the next 12 months including the implementation of a new finance system.
