Sous Events -Lead Chef Wanted

Our client seeks a talented Sous-Events Lead Chef to manage and control food production and event preparation from our state-of-the-art production kitchen in Romford.

You will lead a team of chefs on site, overseeing events from prep to running and leading the Events. You will also manage ordering and maintain kitchen health and safety/hygiene standards.

The role would start in September for a casual trial week; see if it suits you. It will be a Seasonal role, September to December contract, may lead to a permanent role.

Remuneration

Casual Contract -Through Agency

£19.00 Per Hour (£21.29 Per Hour Inclusive of Holiday)

Weekly Paid

Times of Work

Monday to Friday

7am till 4pmm + Evening Functions

Some Weekends To Support Functions i.e. Weddings

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and control food production and preparation for events.

Supervise the team of chefs on site.

Oversee ordering and staffing

Ensure kitchen health and safety/hygiene standards are upheld.

Work on and Lead events, mainly within London but occasionally outside of London.

A driver's license is preferable.

Your Ideal Experience:

Proven experience in a similar role with an event caterer, production kitchen, luxury hotel, or venue.

Previous experience with volume events is essential.

A background in high-end restaurants (ideally rosette level as a minimum) is desirable.

Excellent product and market knowledge of food trends and the London dining scene.
