A rare opportunity to build a Freight division from scratch within an established and reputable company who are paying a competitive - salary circa £45-55k with performance-based incentives based in Romford.

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to establish and lead our clients Freight Division. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of a new business unit within an established company, leveraging existing client relationships and market expertise to drive growth.

• Develop & Implement Strategy: Define the vision, objectives, and roadmap for the Freight Division, aligning with the company's overall goals.
• Business Development: Identify and secure new clients, partnerships, and revenue streams within the freight and logistics industry.
• Operational Setup: Establish processes, compliance measures, and infrastructure for efficient freight operations, including domestic and international shipping.
• Financial Management: Set budgets, control costs, and drive profitability while ensuring competitive pricing models.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to UK and international transport regulations.
• Technology & Innovation: Implement modern logistics technologies and tracking systems to optimise efficiency.

• Proven experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a leadership or business development role.
• Strong industry network with the ability to establish strategic partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of successfully launching or scaling a business unit.
• Knowledge of UK and international freight regulations and customs procedures.
• Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior management.

• Monday - Friday role (office hours)
