We are looking for a Homeless Placement and Move-On Officer to work with a Local Authority based in East London. The role will primarily involve assisting those with housing needs to manage their housing options.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assessing and interviewing residents regarding re-housing
- Ensuring temporary accommodation is allocated fairly and appropriately
- Minimising delays on re-letting of properties
- Ensuring residents are supported with sustaining their tenancies
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and housing options
- Must have experience of interviewing and assessing residents housing needs
