Reed HR are proud to be recruiting for a HR Administration for a rapidly growing Cardiff based organisation. You will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:- Maintain and update the HR system and employee files to ensure accuracy and currency of data.
- Support the management of sickness/absence and provide support to managers as required.
- Liaise with managers to arrange disciplinary/absence review meetings and ensure the correct paperwork is issued.
- Conduct Right to Work checks and ensure relevant documentation is collected and saved.
- Assist the HR team with drafting letters and note-taking during meetings.
- Process changes to employee terms and conditions, including job title, hours, salary, promotions, and bonuses.
- Manage leaver administration effectively, including conducting Exit Interviews and notifying the Payroll Team.
- Work with the HR Team to review and update HR Policies and Procedures as required.
- Provide telephone advice to Line Managers and support the Recruitment function during recruitment drives.
- Undertake the vetting process for all new starters, including issuing references and completing DBS and credit checks.
- Respond to all external reference requests ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Support the HR Team in the onboarding of new starters.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and be proactive.
- Experience in HR administration or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR systems and procedures.
