The School is a Provision that assists children with SEMH issues and looks to make there education experience alot more bearable. This is a chance to work with an extremely dedicated team and have a positive impact on children's educational experience. This is a permanent role. As SENCo you will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Main responsibilities - Lead SEND provision across the school - Work in conjunction with SLT - Ensure all statutory/legal requirements are met for children with SEND - Lead Annual Review meetings - Create and review support plans with teachers and parents - Regularly liaise with parents and keep them informed - Deploy SEND staff and resources effectively - Monitor and evaluate SEND staff performance - Keep up to date with the latest SEND legislation Essential Criteria - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (NASENCO) Desirable Criteria - Previous experience working in a leadership team
