This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and creative Year 2 Teacher that is eager to make a real difference and impact the learning of students attending the school. You'll have the opportunity to be an English lead so you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and the outcome of learning provided, all while developing your own professional skills and expertise.
The Role:
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons based on individuals needs to motivate all learners.
- Teaching according to the children's academic needs
- Mark and assess within the school policies and procedures
- Complete ongoing assessments, recording progress and reporting to middle and senior leaders
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers with regard to pupils achievements and well-being
- Have responsibility and develop leadership under the direction of SLT for leadership and management of subject
- To ensure that the subject complies with the statutory requirements in terms of curriculum assessment and recording and reporting pupil attainment, progress and results
- Lead a team effectively to achieve key outcomes
- Lead a subject reporting progress and achievement
