Fire Systems Engineer

Fire Systems Engineer - large healthcare projects - £70k total package

I’m currently working with a market-leading manufacturer of fire alarm systems for the healthcare sector. We're currently seeking an engineer to work on exciting projects across the Southeast.

You will be supporting the sales process by working alongside sales staff and external stakeholders - main/tier 1 contractors, M&E consultants, and the end user (hospitals and prisons). Activities will include conducting site surveys, designing bespoke fire system infrastructure, preparing technical proposals, assisting with sales presentations, and monitoring installation/commissioning progress.

Salary: £45k salary + £6,500 car allowance + bonus scheme based on team performance (average of £18k additional earnings).

Location: Southeast region (including London & M25).

Duration: Permanent

Requirements:

• Excellent working knowledge around fire alarm systems design and installation - BS5839.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Southeast 2-4 days per week.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience dealing with main/tier 1 contractors.
• Experience with healthcare projects, ideally HTM codes.
