We are seeking a dedicated Maths Lecturer to join our client's educational team, focusing on teaching Functional Skills and GCSE Maths. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mathematics education and skilled in curriculum development.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach Maths to learners at Functional Skills and GCSE level, ensuring that each session is engaging and educational.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the Maths curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the needs of students at different learning levels.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at Functional Skills and GCSE levels.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
