Production and Performing Arts Lecturer

Location: East London/Essex

Salary: £30-£40 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

Start Date: January 2025

End Date: 14th February 2025 (possible extension due to long-term staff sickness)

Hours: 18 hours per week (11.5 hours teaching)

Teaching Schedule:

  • Wednesday: 9-10am, 10.15am-12.15pm, 1-2pm
  • Thursday: 10.45am-12.15pm, 1.15-2.45pm
  • Friday: 10.45am-12.45pm, 1.15-2.45pm

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Production Arts in Further Education (FE) (not Performing Arts).
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Certificate of Education, or equivalent).
  • 2-5 years of industry experience in Production Arts.
  • Familiarity with BTEC and Quality Assurance processes.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production and Performing Arts Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Production Arts, both in teaching and industry experience, and will be familiar with BTEC and Quality Assurance processes.
