As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, contributing to their academic and personal development. Responsibilities:  
  

  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to support students with diverse learning needs. 

  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans.  

  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will provide targeted support to individuals and small groups based on their learning requirements. 

  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and engagement. 

  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system. 

  • Support the implementation of behavior management strategies. 

 
Qualifications and Skills:  
 

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in supporting students with SEN is advantageous. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success. 

  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
