Join this amazing organisation in this pivotal HR Generalist role, where you will collaborate with colleagues across People Services to support the delivery of the workforce strategy and implement strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for a strong HR professional who is adept at managing organisational change and complex employment cases, and who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

This role is being offered on a fixed term basis of 12 months and is open to full and part time applicants.

Job Purpose:

  • Influence the design, implementation, and evaluation of people strategies, policies, and initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness and performance.
  • Build organisational capability through collaboration with leaders and stakeholders, providing expert advice and solutions to organisational challenges.
  • Coach leaders and managers in business change project implementation and manage moderate to high complexity cases.
  • Lead the delivery of projects to meet defined outcomes within agreed timescales, working collaboratively across business functions.
  • Proactively contribute to intelligence and insight gathering to address underlying business issues and improve performance.
  • Partner with People & OD teams to integrate people practices into leadership, management, and talent development agendas.
  • Evaluate the impact of people initiatives, measuring key performance indicators and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage highly complex and difficult conversations across all levels of the organisation, promoting ethical leadership and professional principles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a relevant professional field.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex people, process, and systems issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building influential relationships.
  • Strong understanding of change management techniques and experience in leading significant change programmes.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment and case law, policy, and good practice.
