Job Title: Catering Assistant

Hours: 30 hours rota (must be flexible, some early mornings, late evenings and some weekends)

Location: Romford (Driver essential due to location)

Salary: £22,800

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and plate delicious meals, including salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
  • Ensure workstations are set up for meal service.
  • Assist in the preparation of patient meal trays.
  • Serve meals to patients, staff, and special function guests with utmost professionalism.
  • Receive food deliveries and monitor temperatures.
  • Support Chefs with food preparation as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of premises, including equipment and utensils.
  • Replenish vending and coffee machines.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and complete necessary paperwork.

Requirements

  • Recent catering experience within the last 3 years.
  • Willingness to undergo training in food hygiene and equipment operation.
  • Professional and caring demeanour
  • MUST DRIVE
