Our client, an established and professional organisation based in Romford, Essex is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary with Dispute Resolution / Litigation experience to join their team to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 1 year of Legal Secretarial experience in Litigation / Dispute Resolution, alongside good audio typing skills, excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

Legal Secretary duties will include:-

  • Transcription and production of correspondence and documentation
  • Taking telephone enquiries
  • Assisting with the preparation of bundles
  • Liaising with clients and contacts
  • Liaising with the accounts department and other members of the firm
  • File management

What you will need :-

  • Knowledge and previous experience of working in a litigation / dispute resolution department or Family Law
  • Good level of computer literacy and audio typing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team
