Our client, an established and professional organisation based in Romford, Essex is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary with Dispute Resolution / Litigation experience to join their team to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 1 year of Legal Secretarial experience in Litigation / Dispute Resolution, alongside good audio typing skills, excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
Legal Secretary duties will include:-
- Transcription and production of correspondence and documentation
- Taking telephone enquiries
- Assisting with the preparation of bundles
- Liaising with clients and contacts
- Liaising with the accounts department and other members of the firm
- File management
What you will need :-
- Knowledge and previous experience of working in a litigation / dispute resolution department or Family Law
- Good level of computer literacy and audio typing skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team

The working hours for this role are 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, however our client is willing to consider shortened hours for the right candidate.
