We are currently recruiting a temporary Contracts Coordinator for our Rail Division, based at our Romford office, for maternity cover.

Working as part of a team, you will be providing excellent customer service to our Blue Chip clients, managing and coordinating the temporary workforce, ensuring we are meeting all of the clients' requirements and that the shifts run smoothly. A knowledge of rail contracts and an understanding of Sentinel would be a distinct advantage.

You must be comfortable working within a busy recruitment environment and have the ability to multi task. You will also need great customer service skills and be a confident communicator with a good work ethic and the willingness to learn.

Due to the nature of the role, there is a high level of compliance and paperwork so you will need to be meticulous and have great attention to detail.

You will be based in Romford but will be required to undertake regular on-site visits to build relationships. These are mainly in London and the South East but some travel further afield may be needed from time to time, we will reimburse authorised business travel expenses.

Requirements

  • Good IT skills along with a working knowledge of MS Office is also required for the role.
  • Preparing and inputting time-sheets on to a weekly Merit payroll system
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the existing team
  • Organising and planning workloads
  • Conducting pre-screenings of potential applicants
  • Following through the relevant compliance paperwork and a strict applicant registration process

You will need to have a good working knowledge of Excel, an excellent telephone manner and be capable of building and maintaining relationships and delivering high level customer service to clients and temporary workers over the telephone and face to face.Our office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Additionally we operate an 'out of hours service' so you will be required to share this responsibility on a rotating basis.
