About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate LSA to join our secondary schools in Romford. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education and make a meaningful impact on students' learning and development. If you are passionate about supporting young people and considering a career in teaching or educational psychology, this role as a Graduate LSA could be the perfect stepping stone for you.
As a Graduate LSA, you will work closely with students, teachers, and the SEN team to support learning across various subjects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN.
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting students with their social and emotional development.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress in collaboration with teachers.
Requirements:
- A degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, or related fields are advantageous).
- A genuine passion for working with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
