An excellent opportunity is available for an interim procurement auditor to review and enhance current procurement activities for a leading business.
The role requires significant experience in procurement within a professional service, insurance, or B2B environment, ideally with MCIPS qualification.
This position offers a competitive day rate, with the role being outside of IR35 and initially lasting for at least 3 months.
The successful candidate will work near Romford with hybrid working options and is expected to start immediately.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build supplier relationships are essential for extracting cost savings and driving strategic advantages.

An excellent opportunity to join a leading business to review and audit the current procurement activities and work with the leadership on best practice for the future. This is an interim role, with an immediate start available, outside of IR35 for at least 3 months. The position is based near Romford and offers hybrid working. Overview of the positions as follows:

Review all the businesses current procurement activities, current agreements to provide a through audit of the organisations procurement activities.
Cultivate strong supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms with suppliers
Extract tangible cost savings across our third-party suppliers
Work with suppliers to tackle any supplier issues, queries or lapsed agreements
Lead discussions with suppliers to gain business insights and reporting to share with he business to drive strategic advantage
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value suppliers. Evaluate supplier offerings to ensure suppliers are aligned to business values and offer good value propositions
Recommend best practice and key business planning elements for the future

We are looking or the followings skills experience:

MCIPS qualification (or working towards) - advantageous but not essential
Significant experience in procurement within a professional service, insurance or B2B environment
Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management capabilities
A strategic mindset and the ability to influence at all levels of the business
