Plastering PMO Trainer-Coach

We are seeking a qualified Plastering PMO Trainer-Coach to join our clients team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in teaching and assessing in a college environment, particularly with apprentices. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in plastering and property maintenance.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in plastering and property maintenance to apprentices.
  • Assess studentsā€™ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
  • Prepare educational materials and lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of studentsā€™ attendance, assessments, and progress.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to improve teaching methods and expand the curriculum.
  • Ensure compliance with college policies and industry standards in all teaching activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • Qualified teacher status (PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training).
    • Level 2 qualifications in Plastering and Property Maintenance/Multi Skills, or separate qualifications in Painting & Decorating, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plumbing.
    • Assessors Qualification.
    • Experience teaching and assessing in a college with apprentices.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting.
    • Experience working in an educational establishment.
