Remedy are looking for a EAL Primary Teacher to support a student in 5 who is currently out of school.

The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled EAL Primary Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will support pupils with EAL to develop their English language skills, enabling them to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of EAL pupils.
  • Assess pupils' language proficiency and monitor their progress.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to ensure that EAL support integrates with the wider curriculum.
  • Provide targeted interventions for individuals or small groups.
  • Support the development of inclusive classroom strategies and resources.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with EAL.
  • A strong understanding of EAL teaching strategies and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting children's language development.
