The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join our team full-time starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering classes across various year groups, allowing class teachers their allocated PPA time. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuity of high standards of teaching and learning throughout the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons across all primary year groups.
  • Supporting the educational development of students by following the school's curriculum plans.
  • Collaborating with class teachers to ensure smooth transitions and consistent learning experiences.
  • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
  • Contributing to the creation of a positive and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching at the primary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
