Ideally the PPA Teacher the school are in search for will need to hit the ground running and provide differentiated lessons to groups with varying abilities. Responsibilities of a Primary PPA Teacher:

• As a Primary PPA Teacher in the UK, your role involves serving as a substitute teacher when others are absent, and to cover teachers during PPA time across all classes and year groups.
• Covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Deliver high-quality lessons across all year groups (Nursery to Year 6) to cover PPA time for the teaching staff.
• Collaborate with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure effective learning outcomes during PPA cover.
• Support the ongoing development and assessment of students' progress in line with school policies.

Requirements of a Primary PPA teacher:

• Must hold relevant teaching qualification (QTS)
• Need to have brilliant communication and delivery skills adaptable to all age groups
• Have a positive approach to education and training, covering and being around amongst different year groups everyday
• Must present yourself professionally, have good classroom behaviour management skills and a good safeguarding etiquette following all appropriate procedures
