Job Title: Study support Assistant

Key responsibilities:
- To support the child's learning in class.
- Ensure a secure environment where the pupils feel safe and able to access their learning.
- To enable the child to move safely around the school.
- To adapt lessons or activities where necessary.
- Monitor and advise teaching staff/parents on the child's ability to undertake expected classroom activities.
- To undertake any duties as required by school in relation to the child's overall wellbeing.
- To exchange information with parents and staff to ensure a unified approach to the child's support. * Use professional knowledge and skills to facilitate the child's general learning and development throughout the school day.
- Set termly objectives in conjunction with school staff.
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience working with SEND children in a school environment.
- Experience with providing/willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs (e. peg feeding, toileting, changing etc.)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Right to work in the UK
