Their expertise is focused entirely on repairs, remodelling, and fit-outs, internally and externally. They have more than 20 years' experience delivering highly successful work across the residential, education, commercial, and heritage sectors.
Your new roleAn Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) supports the Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Senior Quantity Surveyor in managing and monitoring all costs related to construction projects. The AQS helps ensure that projects are completed within budget, comply with specifications, and achieve value for money, while maintaining high-quality standards.Key responsibilities include - 1. Cost Management2. Tendering & Procurement3. Contract Administration4. Measurement & Valuations5. Reporting & Documentation6. Collaboration & CoordinationWhat you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or working towards one).Previous work experience or internship in a similar role is advantageous.Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).What you'll get in returnThis role provides a pathway to becoming a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with opportunities to take on more complex projects and responsibilities as experience is gained, a negotiable day rate for an initial 4-month contract with a view to moving into a permanent role with full company benefits and salaries to be discussed.
