Micheldever Tyres is looking for a target driven Business Development Manager with an automotive background to be responsible for achieving territory targets on turnover, gross profit, and premium mix within the franchised dealer channel. You will be responsible for the development of tyre sales activities to support, retain and regain the loyalty of MFDD (Micheldever Franchised Dealer Division) customers, operating to the Vehicle Manufacturer standards. Maintain the Service Level Agreements criteria for key customers. Develop existing accounts - increasing their ability to convert throughputs, sales conversion, and stock profiles. Grow the area customer account portfolio, through targeted prospecting and growth.

About the role:

  • Utilise the reporting tools to performance manage existing accounts to deliver growth
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent sales decline / future growth plans.
  • Develop long-term business relationships with all key accounts in your area.
  • Identify and maintain territory reporting that outlines key target accounts.
  • Work with all accounts to ensure tyre stock is reviewed quarterly
  • Complete and distribute visit reports to all stakeholders after every visit
  • Increase the uptake of Tyre click with customers and work with Marketing to ensure accurate and fast responses to leads.
  • Assist the key Vehicle Manufacturer customers uptake/utilisation of specific brand programmes to assist tyre sales (EVHC, Video tech).

About you:

  • Experience of working with dealers to deliver KPIs and projects to tight deadlines
  • A demonstrable understanding of the Automotive sector
  • Analytical and commercial ability to identify new sales opportunities
  • An excellent communicator, with strong influencing skills to steer and influence significant projects across a wide audience
  • UK Driving Licence
