Our Client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, the role is offered as a permanent full time position.

Salary:                        £30K to £40K pa – depending on sales experience

                                    Fully expensed hybrid 24 reg car (personal mileage permitted)

Bonus:                        Paid twice a year, annually up to 12% of basic salary

                                    (KPI related)

                                    Bonus paid based on company sales

Hours:                         Core hours 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

                                    Requirement to cover phone out of hours on a rota basis

Location:                     Ideally candidate would be based in:

                                    North Kent, SE London or Essex

Must have full UK license – max 3 points

Must be 25 or over

Territory:                    Essex, London, parts of Kent – some countryside

Benefits:                    Holiday - rising to 25 days + BH with service

After 6 months           Health care and 4 x DIS

This role requires an experienced Business Development Manager adept at booking face to face meetings, retaining and gaining new business opportunities.

Business Development Manager duties:

  • Arrange and book appointments for face to face site visits with customers.
  • Set strategy, track, and deliver sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develop positive relationships with existing customers
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Establish and grow relationships with our preferred suppliers
  • Have a proven track record within a sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to deliver projects on time and to budget.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, MS Office and virtual meeting platforms
