- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students of varying abilities and needs
- Assess and evaluate student progress through ongoing assessments and formal examinations
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and refine curriculum materials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and performance
- The ability to relate to and communicate effectively with parents and carers and to encourage their active participation in the educational process
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
- An enhanced DBS on the update service - this is essential
- Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK
- A proven track record of recent and successful class teaching in an 11-16 school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
