Geography Teacher Barking & Dagenham Start Date: January 2025 We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a supportive, Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school and sixth form in Barking & Dagenham. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students in Years 7-13
  • Focus on improving progress 8 scores and overall student attainment
  • Confidently lead lessons and work closely with SEN students

  • Support the learning and development of students throughout the school day, especially within KS3/4
Requirements:

  • 1:1 or 2:1 Geography Degree from a leading UK university
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential; a PGCE is highly desirable
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and confident in working with SEN students
  • Ability to manage behaviour effectively in the classroom
