About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in Romford. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students, with a preference for those who can also teach A-level Physics. This role offers flexibility, with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent, long term cover, or a permanent position based on the candidate's suitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Teach A-level Physics (preferred).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure high standards of learning and achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Must have teaching experience in the UK.
  • Preferably hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have over 3 years of experience teaching secondary Science.
  • Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Ability to teach A-level Physics is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
