Position: Deputy General Manager (Clinical) Location: Romford Nursing Care Centre.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Deputy Manager to join our team.
Role Overview: As the Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you will play a critical role in managing and developing our clinical and care teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and service. Working closely with the General Manager, you will help implement action plans to meet the needs of our residents. In the absence of the General Manager, you will take on leadership duties, overseeing care standards and motivating the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop clinical and care teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Implement action plans in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Lead by example, inspiring a multidisciplinary team to enhance residentsquality of life.
- Monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks.
- Develop and deliver strategies to achieve care and service goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
- Previous experience in a nursing home setting is essential.
- Evidence of continual professional development.
- Experience in managing residents with diverse health needs.
- Proven track record in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
- Experience in supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
