The role

I am looking for a wonderful, enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive, friendly school based in Romford. This is a mainstream primary school with an excellent reputation for providing fantastic education to young people, and also taking great care of their staff!

This is a 1:1 role, supporting a child with a diagnosis of Autism. I am looking for someone resilient, proactive and ready to take on a rewarding role. 

Your day to day role would be working on a 1:1 basis, within the main classroom, ensuring the child can understand the work they are being given, and help overcome any barriers that they may face to their learning.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate for this role would be a teaching assistant looking to expand their experience within a SEN environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to show their passion for SEND children and provide genuine help that can positively impact a child’s needs.
