Are you a recent graduate with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? Our secondary schools in Romford are seeking a dedicated and proactive Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team immediately.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with a range of special educational needs, helping them to succeed academically and personally. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of education, while making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in their day-to-day learning activities.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans and classroom management.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to help students achieve their learning goals.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and support staff.

We are looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who is patient, empathetic, and committed to providing high-quality support to students with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in any subject, with an interest in SEN and education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a school or SEN environment is desirable but not essential.
