Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a new role in a friendly and inclusive school? Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary School based in Havering, assisting in their search for a Learning Support Assistant to start in November. You will support children with SEND on a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting smaller groups of children throughout the wider school, across all year groups. This school is easily accessible via car and is close to transport links, with parking options available. The role will start in November and will continue until the end of the academic year in July 2025, on a full-time basis.What do you need to be successful in this role?
  • Experience supporting pupils in EYFS, Primary or Secondary settings.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant
  • Have a positive and friendly demeanour which can be used to be provide positive experiences.
  • Able to provide behavioural management in-line with the school's policies and procedures.
  • A pro-active attitude to ensure students are getting the best experience available to them.
  • Communication skills and able to work well in a team.
