Looking for a new challenge supporting children with SEN to start as soon as possible.

We are supporting an 'Outstanding' Romford primary school to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a year 3 child. The child is in the classroom on a 1-1 basis; ideally the right candidate will understand work-stations and show professionalism with a passion to support their social and learning development.

Monday to Friday - Term time only

SEN Teaching Assistant :

  • Experience and knowledge of working with special needs.
  • A positive attitude, the ability to emphasise and a willingness to develop and learn in the role.
  • To be calm, patient and have a caring approach to working 1-1 with children that have SEN.
  • Building the social/ emotional skills of the child whilst promoting trust and confidence.
  • To have good communication and organisational skills, patient with a positive attitude.
  • To be professional at all times keeping to school policies and procedures

Qualification

Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant / SEND or Care qualification.
