Requirements

  • Previous experience in schools with SEN students
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad - this is essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Demonstrate patience, passion, and professionalism.
  • Manage children with challenging behaviour.
  • Confidence, punctuality and eagerness.
  • Effectively manage behaviour and build positive learning relationships with SEN pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Team up with teachers to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Be a champion for students with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored assistance.
  • Organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks with ease.
  • Assist in crafting imaginative teaching materials to spark curiosity.
  • Assist in carrying out educational strategies that are appropriate for each child's learning goals.
  • Give children, parents, and caregivers feedback about their development, accomplishments and potential issues as directed by the teaching team.
  • Empathetic, caring and compassionate.
