We are working with a Romford based school to support them with a requirement for a a special needs teaching assistant to work with ASD/ADHD KS2 students - Excellent opportunity if you want make a difference to a young person's life.

A 'Good' primary school in the Romford area to are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work accross the KS2 area within the school. Do you have experience and are confident with supporting children with Autism/ADHD traits & triggers to make education a positive environment?

Monday to Friday - Term time only 8.30am - 3.30pm - with a break

For this SEN Teaching Assistant :

  • Experience and knowledge of working with autism and/or ADHD in a school or care based setting.
  • To understand triggers and make a positive learning environment.
  • Be cofident to work with different year group and childrren with different levels of additional needs.
  • Have knowledge of working with a work-station to develop students learning
  • Have the knowledge of supporting children with SEMH, and be confidnet to develop children in this area of SEN
  • To have good communication and organisational skills, patient with a positive attitude.
  • To be professional at all times keeping to school policies and procedure

Qualification

Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant / SEND or Care qualification

All successful applicants will have access to training courses and on going support.
