We are seeking dedicated and skilled Intervention Specialists and Tutors to join our secondary schools in Romford, with an immediate start. As Intervention Specialists and Tutors, you will play a key role in supporting students who need additional academic help, ensuring that they make measurable progress and achieve their potential.

In this role, Intervention Specialists and Tutors will work closely with small groups or on a one-to-one basis, delivering tailored interventions to boost student learning. You will collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to identify students’ needs and implement strategies to address any barriers to learning. The key responsibilities for the Intervention Specialists and Tutors role include:

  • Planning and delivering focused interventions in core subjects, such as Maths, English, and Science.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs.
  • Providing tutoring and mentoring support, both academically and emotionally, to help students reach their goals.
  • Working closely with classroom teachers to ensure consistency and alignment between interventions and the main curriculum.
  • Motivating and inspiring students to overcome challenges and stay engaged in their learning.

The ideal candidate for the Intervention Specialists and Tutors role will have experience in working with students at secondary school level, a passion for education, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students.
