- Teach Skills for Employment / Employability / Skills for Career Success qualifications to a range of classes across the college, learning centres and workplaces as required.
- Actively participate in all communications with parents, employers and stakeholders as appropriate to the target audience and programme requirements.
- Undertake training and development as required for the role.
- Uphold the College's policies and procedures, including those for Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, and student discipline as required.
- Play an active part within the Skills For Employment delivery team
Skills & experience
- Right to Work & Enhanced Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Maintaining accurate records, both paper and computer based
- Maintaining administrative systems and procedure
- 2-5 Years Experience of Youth Working
- 2 Years Experience Teaching/Assessing young people
- Youth qualification to Level 3 or above
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Excellent at managing challenging behaviour
