  • Teach Skills for Employment / Employability / Skills for Career Success qualifications to a range of classes across the college, learning centres and workplaces as required.
  • Actively participate in all communications with parents, employers and stakeholders as appropriate to the target audience and programme requirements.
  • Undertake training and development as required for the role.
  • Uphold the College's policies and procedures, including those for Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, and student discipline as required.
  • Play an active part within the Skills For Employment delivery team

Skills & experience

  • Right to Work & Enhanced Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • Maintaining accurate records, both paper and computer based
  • Maintaining administrative systems and procedure
  • 2-5 Years Experience of Youth Working
  • 2 Years Experience Teaching/Assessing young people
  • Youth qualification to Level 3 or above
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent at managing challenging behaviour
