Position Overview:Our client is a leading, independent provider of IT Managed Services and Digital Transformation Solutions to UK businesses.  They are seeking a Communications Network and Connectivity Lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of communication and connectivity service installations. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of projects, meeting customer requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. The successful candidate will manage a team, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide leadership to deliver outstanding results.As s Network and Connectivity Installation Management you will:
  • Plan, schedule, and manage the installation of network and connectivity services.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
  • Develop detailed installation plans, addressing timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Configure broadband hardware and troubleshoot customer broadband issues as necessary.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of provisioning coordinators, driving high-quality performance and providing ongoing training on relevant technologies.
  • Support installation teams throughout project planning and execution.
  • Monitor team progress to ensure consistent service excellence.
Customer Interaction
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the installation process, managing concerns and providing updates.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery and timely resolution of any issues.
Resource Management
  • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project demands and deadlines.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure installations meet both industry and company standards.
  • Conduct post-installation inspections and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain detailed records of installation activities, resource usage, and project timelines.
  • Prepare regular status reports for senior management and document processes for continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in communication and connectivity technologies and integrate new solutions as appropriate.
Vendor Management
  • Ensure vendors comply with contractual agreements, legal obligations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of vendors and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Foster strategic vendor relationships to encourage innovation and cost reduction.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in managing communication and connectivity systems installations.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective client and team engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications regulations and industry standards.
Work Environment:
  • Occasional travel between company sites.
  • The work environment may vary between office settings and client locations.
