Building Surveyor SouthamptonSalary up to £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance £5000 + Bonus + Pension + 25 Days HolidayBlaymires Recruitment is representing a Surveying and Consultancy firm based near Romsey, Hampshire who are searching for a Building Surveyor to join their business.

The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently working with a range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.They are looking for a Building Surveyor to undertake report writing and project management duties for the replacement of Cladding and Façade projects. You will be working with a team of façade experts, and you will be given the ongoing training and guidance relating to technical specifications.They are a professional and forward-thinking business who are looking to attract the very best within the building surveying industry and in return will offer an interesting and long-term career opportunity.The Successful Applicant· Report writing skills. · A minimum of four years’ technical delivery experience gained within a construction consultancy.· Pre and post-contract experience.· Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.· Strong IT skills (AutoCAD, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and other bespoke software).· Organised, diligent and commercially astute.· A team player with a 'can-do' attitude.· Project management experience would be an advantage.On Offer· Salary up to £50,000-£55,000 · Car Allowance £5000.· Bonus up to £3k per year.· Ongoing career development.· Friendly and professional working environment.· Support toward APC.If you would like to find out more then please contact Stephen Blaymires at Blaymires Recruitment
