Early Years Practitioner

Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a lovely, nurturing Nursery in Romsey. The successful candidate will assist in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all children in their care and support active learning, creativity and exploration.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
• Support the daily routines and care of children.
• Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean and organised classroom.

  Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:

• • Level 2 qualified- ESSENTIAL
  • Level 3 qualified- DESIRABLE
  • Experience in an EYFS setting - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience with supporting the development of SEN learners (desirable)

• To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
